I currently serve as the Director of Sales Engineering with Yorktel a provider of integrated audiovisual and information technology systems. I am responsible for leading a Team of nine (9) Enterprise System Consultants that are responsible for developing the design, specifications and delivery of integrated multi-media presentation, video conference, digital media and IT network infrastructure systems and solutions as well as traditional television production and studio facilities. I also continue to be an active Design Engineer. Some projects of note that I have been involved with include an automated production system for the City of Buffalo Common Council that was featured in Government Video Magazine, the SBC/Medco Collaboration Studio, University of Rochester School of Nursing Auditorium and Classrooms, HSBC Bank USA Auditorium in Buffalo, NY, SUNY Geneseo Speech Pathology Observation System, and Wilmot Cancer Center to name a few. I have been employed in the Integrated Audio Visual Systems field for over 25 years. I joined Univisions in July, 1986 as a Sales Consultant in the Buffalo Territory. Historically, Univisions merged with Crimson Tech in November of 2004 to form Univisions Crimson Group which was subsequently acquired by York Telecom in January of 2007. I have attended numerous Factory Training sessions with our major manufacturers including AMX, Crestron, Extron and Vbrick to name a few and continues to expand his knowledge base and skills in the evolving areas of AV/IT convergence. I currently hold an International Communications Industries Association (ICIA) CTS Certification as well as a Vbrick Systems Network Certified Engineer (VNCE).
