ABOUT PATRICK BRYSKI

Mr. Bryski serves as the Senior Vice President for Business Development and Partnerships for Heifer International. In this role, he is responsible for global coordination of awards-based growth and manages Heifer\'s work with Institutional Donors, Global Partnerships and Alliances, Tier 1 Foundations, and the Business Development Hub, which manages proposal development. From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Bryski conducted post-project reviews of IFC’s international financial sector projects to determine if IFC and World Bank development objectives, defined at approval, were actually realized after project delivery. This comprehensive “look back” process benefited from Mr. Bryski’s deep financial sector experience as a banker and financial sector specialist working across the emerging markets. The Independent Evaluations Group (IEG) reports directly to the World Bank board of directors and provides evaluations, recommendations and learnings to improve development impact. Previously, Mr. Bryski was a Partner with Deloitte Southeast Asia and a member of Deloitte’s International Development Organizations (IDO) Account Team, with direct supervision over all international development programs in Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar and across the emerging markets of SEA. Mr. Bryski, as a Deloitte and KPMG partner and as a Vice President at BearingPoint, has 30 years of international consulting experience and has overseen a vast array of consulting programs in private sector reform, bank strengthening and restructuring, and training and capacity building across the public and private sectors. He has worked in 85 different countries for clients ranging from leading international commercial and central banks to donors such as World Bank, Asian Development Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development, International Finance Corporation, and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Key skills include business development, new market entry, managing international projects, establishing international offices, recruiting, managing and developing local teams, building relationships with leading business and government leaders. Sectoral experience includes economic governance, reforming business enabling environments, access to finance, bank restructuring, Central Bank strengthening, and public sector reform for international donor clients. Mr. Bryski was also directly responsible for the business development, management and quality assurance for World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank engagements at their DC headquarters and for their international programs.
