Assist with supplier development and proactive continuous improvement efforts in supply chain quality and delivery performance. Performs First Article and Source Inspections as needed. Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers. Participate as needed in the selection, evaluation, quality requirement flow down, monitoring, and supplier development activities. Ensure evaluation and qualification of suppliers are performed and maintain an Approved Supplier List (ASL) along with Supply Chain. Support Electrical, Mechanical, Quality, and Power system Engineers. Review practices, procedures, and processes seeking avenues to improve efficiency and effectiveness and reduce risk to product/program quality. Develop and maintain strong and effective working relations with program offices, other AST & Science organizations, vendors, and contractors. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Wrote procedures. Work in ERP, PLM and MES systems. This include development of sections and testing in a sandboxs environment for these systems. Products included Solar panels, PCB/PCBA, Batteries, Composites, and Metal structures.
