ABOUT PATRICK BARRY

I\'m currently seeking a Marketing placement year, starting July-September 2025. I am now in my second year studying an Undergraduate BSc Degree in Business Management at the University of Nottingham. I\'ve gained valuable work experience at companies such as Sky, alongside my academic studies, which have driven my interest in Marketing and Advertising. I\'m hungry to expand my knowledge and experience in this sector. Relevant Experience: Sky –Digital Marketing Work Experience– London UK • Shadowing the Digital Marketing department gave me opportunities to develop planning strategies and first-hand insight to C2C and platform partner relationships • Developing analytical and communication skills through attending trade advisory and marketing campaign meetings focused on new product launch, Sky Glass • Honing my creative skills through working on the design of advertising materials for Sky mobile and Sky Glass, providing input regarding a younger demographics view and appropriation of social media Digital Marketing Academy – (DMA, Nottingham) Enrolled in the Digital Marketing Academy through the University of Nottingham, developing my digital marketing and analytical skills, gaining a deeper understanding of the day-to-day roles of a marketeer, whilst obtaining an industry-recognised qualification.
