As Vice-President of Corporate Citizenship, Sustainability, and ESG at TELUS, I lead the company’s global strategy to create lasting social impact, drive sustainability, and integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across our business. I oversee TELUS\' globally recognized programs, including TELUS Days of Giving, TELUS Community Boards, Team TELUS Cares, TELUS Wise, and TELUS Connecting for Good, which bridges the digital, social, and healthcare divides for over 1.3 million people in underserved communities. I also guide our sustainability and environmental solutions and lead TELUS’ role in delivering the TELUS Student Bursary Program, supporting thousands of students each year.With nearly 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, I bring a collaborative, people-centered approach to building strategies that align business goals with broader societal needs. Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles in People & Culture and Corporate Communications, driving transformative programs that benefit communities and help build a more sustainable future.TELUS proudly contributes more than 5% of our pre-tax profits to social impact initiatives annually, underscoring our commitment to driving positive social outcomes. Since TELUS has invested over $1 billion in social impact, with 1.8 million volunteer days donated by our global team members and retirees.Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and has also completed several executive leadership programs from BCIT, Stanford and MIT.
