Patrick Anderson founded the consulting firm Anderson Economic Group LLC in 1996, which has become one of the most recognized boutique consulting firms in the US. The firm serves clients that include universities, large and small companies, and governments in all 50 U.S. states, Canada, Turkey, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Anderson founded the innovative decision intelligence software firm Supported Intelligence LLC in 2012. The company now holds patents in the US, Japan, and Korea, and has patents pending in other countries. The innovations developed by the firm have now been used by residents of over 90 countries, including on the consumer application SmartBracket(tm).Mr. Anderson is the author of over 100 published works, including the books Economics of Business Valuation (Stanford University Press, 2012). He has won awards for writing from the National Association for Business Economics five times: in 2019, 2018, 2013, 2009, and 2004. The University of Michigan and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce have both recognized him for his civic involvement, awarding Mr. Anderson the Distinguished Alumni and Leadership Michigan awards in 2014 and 2006. He is a co-founder of the charity Michigan Remembers 9-11 Fund, which remembers victims and heroes of the September 11 tragedy.
