At FOOTASYLUM, the TA team thrives on matching the right talent to the perfect roles, a challenge I relish as the sole Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist for our entire Retail Estate, partnering with over 70 hiring managers and leading on all existing + new store hiring strategy, process design and execution. I can regularly be working on 50+ requisitions at any one time. With 7+ years experience within the recruitment industry, I am a confident people professional both at business partner and consultative level. Since transitioning from agency recruitment to in-house talent acquisition in 2022, I\'ve honed skills in EVP, employer branding, talent acquisition strategy, internal mobility, recruitment process design, curating and facilitating recruitment training workshops and best practice manuals. I partner with my stakeholders on talent strategy and workforce planning and do so to the best of my ability, with a strong work ethic and most of all pride! My focus is on fostering relationships that empower both our company and prospective candidates, ensuring mutual success and growth.Not only this, but as part of our People Team, I readily put myself forward to be involved with specific projects which shape our whole People Strategy for the business. I absolutely adore this part of my job as I am People Centric and value the importance of a positive and inclusive Company Culture. I am privileged to have been a part of specific projects such as being a champion on our New Company Values project, another being looking at our Communication Plans, Benefits and Rewards. Furthermore, volunteering to support Head Office training sessions as a training facilitator with the L&D team. In addition, playing a key part in setting up our awareness/celebration days throughout the year, having lead on various engagement activities such as Pride, International Women’s Day, International Men’s Day, World Mental Health Awareness Day and Movember. Not only this, but as a valued member of our Social Committee and People Comms Team, I have supported with Black History Month, Christmas, Summer Socials and more.(Which I do all voluntarily, alongside a busy workload as a TA specialist. I care passionately about our E.V.P, culture, inclusivity but most of all our People!). I am a certified In House Recruiter having passed my Level 3 REC qualification and look forward to commencing my CIPD Level 5 qualification in 2025. In 2017 I graduated from Leeds Business School with a BA (hons) degree in International Business.
