The Beacon Hill Civic Association (BHCA) was established in 1922 by a concerned group of neighbors whose goal was to protect Beacon Hill’s historic and residential character. Today, the BHCA continues as an organization that helps preserve and enhance the quality of life on Beacon Hill through community development, civic engagement and historic preservation. A 501(c)(3) organization, the BHCA acts as an advocate for Beacon Hill residents in local government affairs, and assures that zoning and architectural guidelines of this nationally recognized historic district are adhered to.
