Lead the Finance/Accounting Department (support staff) and financial functions for multiple locations including Europe. • Responsible for maintaining financial records and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company\'s reported financial results. • Full cycle accounting: bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, journal entries, fixed assets. • Financial analysis, cash flow report, and budget creation/adherence. • Banking reconciliation, wire transfers, deposits, paying checks, credit card account reconciliation and transaction posting. • Tax preparation including converting accrual to cash (with assistance of outside CPA firm). • Create and submit reports to management tracking health and progress of company financials. • Confer with upper management about budgeting and reviewing strategies to manage capital and operating budget, financial forecasts, report variances, and provides purposeful tactical analysis to support improved decision making in meeting overall strategic goals and objectives. • Work with Sales and Operations teams on invoicing. • Maintain benefits programs, including simple IRA, health insurance, payroll liabilities and PTO accrual • Tracking and paying commissions. • Internal audits of processes, records, and information; work with outside auditors as required. • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
