My name is Patricia Nicandro and I\'m a Midwesterner with West coast love. I moved back to Chicago in January 2011 after a six-year stretch in beautiful, sunny California where I worked as a public servant in the City Manager\'s Communications Office for the City of San José, CA. Most Chicagoans think I’m crazy for returning, but there is something about this city that always draws me in — the food, the energy, the culture, and the people. More importantly, I recognized that Chicago is one of the best cities to practice PR and marketing, which is why I decided to earn my M.A. in Public Relations & Advertising at DePaul University. After 4 years of agency work and almost 3 years of foodservice marketing, I\'m back at my alma mater as Marketing & Communication Manager for the Division of Student Affairs.Specialties: • Highly evaluated written and oral communication skills.• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment, and under tight deadlines.• Experience in gathering information/research for coursework and jobs; held CITI certification.• Willing to learn and teach new skills for benefit of team and/or project.• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, iWork, iMovie, Canva, MailChimp, WordPress, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Social Media, and Zoom.
