As an HR consultant with Fast Track Staffing I am a part of a team of dedicated professionals working to deliver high-quality staffing processes for our Federal Government clients in eight weeks. Managing staffing processes in this tight timeframe requires excellent project management skills to ensure that we remain on time and on budget. Specific tasks that I am responsible for include-Working closely with hiring managers, subject matter experts and internal HR advisors to develop assessment materials-Assessing candidates at all stages of the staffing process, including screening resumes, proctoring and marking exams, sitting on interview panels, and checking references-Conducting debriefs with unsuccessful candidates to discuss the reason why they did not pass and provide tips for future assessments-Providing advice to the hiring manager on how to manage any issues that arise in accordance with federal government staffing policies; and-Monitoring contract burn-rate to ensure that processes are proceeding on time and on budget.
