As an experienced safety and health leadership professional, I focus on partnering with the operations team to implement safety and health programs that will work in their environment and are sustainable. Authenticity + Knowledge = Effectiveness What I have learned over the years is that you can\'t do safety to anyone, you have to do it with them. You have to partner with the people who do the work, listen to their issues and their solutions; and together move safety forward. I worked my way from an entry level engineer, to a maintenance supervisor, and then up through safety to a leadership position. I\'ve been there, and seen what works and what doesn\'t. I work with people at an authentic level, and meet people where they are. This foundation of trust and respect is what I build every interaction on; because if people don\'t trust you, you will never find out what is really wrong and what needs to be fixed. I have over 30 years of experience within the automotive industry in the fields of safety and health, industrial engineering, maintenance, and training. I have over 23 years of experience in the Safety and Health field, with increasing leadership responsibility. Areas of expertise includes all aspects of safety including program, policy, and procedure development, regulatory compliance, and ergonomics. I have experience with new facility construction and start up, facility modification and growth, and facility closure. Experience also includes working for both domestic and international manufacturers, at both union and non-union facilities; and short term international assignments in Japan, Brazil, and Mexico.

   Provide safety expertise to clients and staff in the areas of industrial safety. Effectively steward and build client relationships through quality work and transparency. Develop safety programs and audit protocols, and perform safety audits to evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Provide technical assistance on safety-related compliance projects, safety management system development and implementation, and safety oversight. Develop written safety procedures, plans, permits, and reports. Assess regulatory compliance across various safety programs. Conduct training, field coaching, and assessment for safety performance improvement projects. Manage multiple projects within scope/budge/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables. Support staff in execution of safety projects and provide technical reviews of deliverables.
