Kids FIRST is Lane County\'s Children\'s Advocacy Center. Our mission is to provide intervention and advocacy for children who are victims of, or witnesses to, crime. Children are referred to us directly by our community partners: law enforcement, DHS Child Welfare, and medical professionals. Kids FIRST provides services to children when there are concerns of child sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or witnessing domestic violence. Approximately 2/3 of the children served each year are under age 12.
