ABOUT PATRICIA VINCENT

After retiring from EDC in September 2024, I took a much-needed break to support my in-laws, who are both dealing with advancing dementia, and to spend some quality time traveling with my 86-year-old mother, who still manages to outpace me at times. This period has been such a blessing, as many people never get the chance to focus on what truly matters before it’s too late. Our careers often take over and, before we know it, time has flown by. During this break, I also pursued my long-held passion for travel. I became a licensed travel agent and joined a good friend part-time at his boutique agency, Escapism Travel (p•••••••@escapismtravel.com). As 2025 rolled in, I was able to embark on some personal travel included oil painting classes in Florence, cruising to the Greek isles and Turkey, and extended visits with friends in Germany and Switzerland. So, what’s next? Well, I’m sure there are many things on the horizon, but for now, I’ve taken on a contract with CDEV that continues to fuel my professional passion and reconnect me with my roots in human resources and business. Funny enough, I still find myself asking, “What will I do when I grow up?” Here’s to embracing change, prioritizing what matters, following your passions, and continuing to grow!
