I am committed to dance as creative expression-teaching children & adults tools of choreography so that they might find their voices and leadership through dance. Since 1998, Nancy Ng & I have shared Luna\'s directorship, evolving it from a small community-based studio program to a multi-faceted organization serving dance teachers from across the country through Professional Learning.Sharing my interests nationally has been an intriguing way to meet colleagues who are as passionate about dance education as I. Conference presentations include: Collaborative Leadership: Becoming the leaders we are looking for, National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) 2018 annual conference, La Jolla, CA; Purposeful Evaluation: How Do We Know We’re Walking our Talk, National Guild of Community Arts Education 2017 annual conference, San Francisco, CA; Embedding Dance, Race, and Equity into Practice, NDEO 2017 annual conference San Antonio, TX; Where are they now? 15 years of Luna’s Summer Institutes, survey of 155 participants over 15 years, NDEO 2016 annual conference, Washington, DC;\"I, We, Us\", keynote address Embody/In My Body conference 2015 Vancouver, BC.
