   I take pride in - and responsibility for - this agency with our simple but powerful mission:\"To empower seniors to live with independence AND interdependence by nourishing mind, body and spirit.\"For >40 years, LIFE has been serving seniors who want very much to continue living at home but who cannot afford the basic services they need to do so.We envision a time where elders are not afraid and lonely and malnourished. We believe that warm, nutritious food, companionship, health education, transportation assistance, and case management are some of the basics of life and should be available for any senior in need, regardless of insurance type or circumstances. These are the things we\'re working on in our local neighborhoods now. This is the kind of world that will enrich every one of us; old, young and in between.
