Manage various commodities with high viability to balance demand across core and preferred suppliers and maintain an understanding of each supplier\'s capabilities and current capacity, relative to site requirements to ensure appropriate supplier selection. Understand fundamental market drivers so that reasonable pricing can be determined and supply risk reduced.Prepare and analyze bid packages. Select suppliers and negotiate the best contract terms and conditions. Interacting directly with Quality, Engineering, Project Managers, Sales and others as appropriate. Interfacing with project managers and coordinators for the purpose of purchase order administration as well as daily expediting of orders and updating product status.
