Patricia Hill

CEO of Bay State since 2004. She is the wife of the late Robert Hill Jr, Bay State’s principal and owner from 1992 through 2005. Ms. Hill has been a key employee of Bay State since 1992. She is responsible for the planning and strategic direction of the company. Under Ms. Hill’s leadership, the company was recognized by Inc. as one of America’s fastest growing companies and by Black Enterprise as one of America’s top 100 small black enterprises. In 2011, Ms. Hill appeared on Executive Leading Radio to discuss her entrepreneurial experience. Always seeking to perfect her vision and leadership, Ms. Hill was selected to participate in the Tuck School of Business’ Building a High Performing Minority Business program at Dartmouth College. In addition to her recent recognitions, she was selected to be a member of the esteemed Leadership Maryland Class of 2011. As a member of the DC SmartCEO 100, Ms. Hill received the 2011 Women Business Achievement Award from SmartCEO (Brava). Hill received her B.S. in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her CPA in 1993 and is an ISO Certified Lead Auditor, as well as a Certified Facility Clearance Officer. Ms. Hill maintains and continues her educational training in various technical and operational classes. In addition to ongoing education in the methodological erational fields, she constantly searches for opportunities to build upon her leadership abilities.
