The client also engaged Deloitte to design and support the implementation of a centralized Accounts Payable function with a single process and platform for Canadian operations. Key objectives for the organization have been streamlining of resources, cost reduction, productivity improvement and overall better centralized operations. Role: • Business Strategy and Management Consulting with Senior Leaders and Executives for Optimization of one of the banks Business Groups.• Improvement delivery in operations costs, headcount, process replication and productivity.• Incorporated a change management strategy, organization design plan and communications plan to manage the transition.• Define and align on the scope, approach, and transition strategy / timeline for the Accounts Payable Transformation. • Develop the process blueprint and align on key design principles. • Developed a business case with implementation cost and benefit estimates for executive approval. • Standardized and centralized AP processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual operations and improve decision-making capabilities. • Led workshops to develop current state understanding and future state high-level designs of the Finance operation model (processes, systems, organizational structure).• Transitioned select AP activities to enable labor savings.
