At The Hope and Healing Center & Institute, I play a pivotal leadership role in scaling evidence-based mental and behavioral health training and resources. By collaborating with senior leadership, we will launch a national initiative aimed at enhancing mental health literacy in schools and faith communities. Our efforts will lead to significant improvements in community engagement, mental health education, early intervention and support for individuals in need.The HHCI Mental Health Literacy Project aims to evaluate and expand two key training programs—EMPOWER and Mental Health Coach Training—across faith-based organizations and schools. These programs are designed to promote mental health literacy, early intervention, and compassionate referrals through certified training for paraprofessionals and mental health advocates.
