About Patrice Borders

Patrice, known as The EI Amplifier®, is an executive coach, TEDx and keynote speaker, and facilitator. Her tools of choice are emotional intelligence (EI) and mindfulness. Her mission is to empower leaders who pause and mindfully build work cultures that support teaming and collaboration.She is the Founder and CEO of AmplifyEI®. For over 20 years, she has combined her employment law and human capital practices to coach individuals and advise organizations on developing resonate leaders, collaborative teams, and thriving workplace cultures.Patrice helps leaders and organizations evolve into better versions of themselves by guiding them through the inside work – growing in self-awareness – to lead with insight and compassion more effectively. She has delivered transformational training and leadership coaching to individuals and audiences worldwide, including Fortune 100 corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, Danaher, Procter & Gamble, Nielsen, 84.51ºand various law firms, non-profits, and academic entities.Patrice is a Certified Search Inside Yourself Teacher (the leadership development program born at Google, based on mindfulness, emotional intelligence and contemporary neuroscience). She is also certified in the EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence assessment tools, the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument®, and as a professional and executive coach. Her work is supported by her vision to amplify emotional intelligence (#amplifyEI) by sharing tools and strategies for leading with the 7 Keys to Emotional Intelligence™ framework: Center (be present), Comprehension (self/others), Connection, Communication, Collaboration, Conflict (resolution/management), and Culture (co-authoring thriving and safe workplace cultures).
