I am a Strategy and Operations Specialist driven by one question: what are people trying to build, and how do I help them get there?I have built this track record across federal defense, government contracting, and nonprofit environments, and I love solving problems for others so they can execute their ambition.At D&G Solutions I have grown through four roles in nearly four years built on the same instinct: get curious about what is not working, build relationships with the right people, and create something that closes the gap. At CISA\'s National Risk Management Center I was promoted twice while supporting an SES-level Assistant Director, moving from Executive Assistant to Senior Administrative Officer and Team Lead simultaneously. I built a briefing system adopted by two NRMC subdivisions and the Director\'s Senior Advisor. I helped stand up the Director\'s Action Group, led five EAs across NRMC and CISA, and kept a senior leadership front office running. Senior federal leadership recognized me by name for the work.At D&G Headquarters I built things that did not exist. I designed the performance review system giving employees a tool to advocate for raises, built the HR project management system in Microsoft 365, launched the external events program using Asana, co-led the ISO Working Committee driving standardization across HQ departments company-wide, and produced the annual company newsletter using Canva. Every system was built to work for the people using it.At USCG Headquarters I support Force Design 2028 across internal communications, working group facilitation, and team coordination. I manage content for 20 monitors, support admiral-led Working Group tables across 7 Control Towers, and design visual communications reviewed at the flag officer level. When I noticed a gap in how updates were gathered, I proposed a data call workflow, built the relationships to make it work, and got it approved. It is now live.Writing runs through everything I do, from briefing memos for senior leadership to personal essays about grief and life in DC. I write for Bartausky, my own Substack, and contribute to the Eastern Market Newsletter. On the weekends you can find me at Eastern Market DC as a Market Manager for Yalla Koshary, an Egyptian food vendor rooted in community. It is my favorite way to stay connected to the city I love and the people in it.
