About Swapnil Patil
Do what you love and never work a day in your life\'. I read it, tried to follow it, got an opportunity to do it and am doing it. I developed interest in Intellectual Property Rights while I was doing my post-graduation in Pharmacy. I gave an attempt at and managed to qualify patent agent exam, 2013. Before this I had scored acceptably good at competitive exams such as MHT-CET after HSC, Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (Passed with AIR 778), National talent search exam for Pharmacy ( AIR 32) and NIPER. I started my career at IP department of Getz Pharma Research (GPR)(Ambernath). Later on moved to Khurana and Khurana (K&K), Advocates and IP attorneys and its IP consulting firm IIPRD and from there to UPL limited and continuing here.While being at GPR, K&K/IIPRD and UPL Limited, I have got hands on and I am well acquainted with many paid as well as non-paid databases used in IP. I have exposure to patentability searches, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patent invalidation, freedom to operate opinion, and infringement opinion. I have also tried hands on patent landscaping.I also have basic knowledge about other IPRs than patent.
