My main objective of teaching is to increase self-awareness beyond the yoga mat and allow compassionate self-exploration and growth to happen through these tools. The practices we do on good days prepare our bodies and brains to respond appropriately when the storms hit - both personally and professionally. We may compartmentalise our lives based on different roles, but ultimately the fundamental programs running the shows are the same.I teach the following over the weekends - Introductory and Intermediate Hatha Yoga, Mindfulness based relaxation practices, Yoga Nidra (Non-Sleep Deep Relaxation), Breathwork and Meditation techniques to combat stress, anxiety, hypervigilance, insomnia.Currently training to become more trauma-informed - to help individuals combating different forms of PTSD cope and adjust well in life.
