Providing technical and scientific commercialization support for research focused on the nutritional evaluation, characterization and feasibility of industrially-derived algal and crop biomass and/or novel extracted compounds to target specific production and health promotion applications in aquaculture, livestock and companion animals. Scope of work includes assessing the biochemical characterization, nutrient bioavailability, growth performance and nutritional quality of biomass and extracts in order to assess the feasibility and performance of such in various feed and nutritional applications. Other areas of focus include the effects of various feed processing conditions on nutritional quality of novel ingredients, complete diets and animal/fish performance.
