Volunteering in India gave me a new perspective on how I could use my skills to affect change. Working with students who had no formal schooling, I understood the importance of access to education for breaking the cycles of poverty. With the right mindset and frameworks, we can break the cycle of systemic issues. I was fortunate to be given the opportunities I was and my ultimate goal is to pay this forward.
