About Pat Calhoun

I currently serve as the Director of Security at Asbury Church in Tulsa. Before this role, I spent 24 years as a Tulsa Police Officer, where I held various positions including K-9 Officer, Sex Crimes Supervisor, Planning and Research Supervisor, Community Education Coordinator, and Patrol Supervisor. I am also a volunteer chaplain for the Tulsa Police and Fire Departments.Education has been a significant focus in my retirement. I earned my Ph.D. in Occupational Education from Oklahoma State University, a Master’s Degree in Management from Southern Nazarene University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from O.S.U. I am a retired adjunct professor at Belhaven University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and the University of Oklahoma, covering subjects in the graduate and undergraduate schools of criminal justice and business.I volunteer with a ministry called Your One Degree. We help individuals and couples discover their purpose in life, a rewarding ministry that has taken me around the world several times.
