As Procurement Manager, I am responsible for all subcontractor and vendor packages. I coordinate with the Preconstruction Manager, the Project Manager and the team to develop bid packages, including reviewing all long lead time deliveries and establishing early release purchase orders as required to expedite materials within the requirements of the project schedule. I also tabulate bid results and provide information to assist in award recommendation. I approach this position as an HR Manager for our trade/vendor partners. I interview, evaluate, recommend and approve of qualified trade/vendor partners. I am a liaison between our trade/vendor partners and the Turner Business Unit.
