I am a senior engineering professional with more than two decades of experience spanning the aerospace and medical device industries. While my foundation is in aerospace and mechanical engineering, my primary career focus today is overall system design for Advanced Energy surgical devices as a technical team leader.At J&J MedTech Surgery, I have contributed to the development and launch of four Harmonic™ products, working as lead design engineer at the system level, algorithm design, energy delivery, performance optimization, and reliability. I enjoy solving complex, physics‑driven problems that require deep technical understanding while remaining grounded in manufacturability, cost, and real‑world clinical use.Over my career, I have worked in new product development, design optimization, reliability engineering, thermal analysis, probabilistic simulation, and design of experiments. My most rewarding work has come from balancing performance, robustness, and scalability—turning advanced technology into dependable products. I am also passionate about technical mentoring and take pride in helping engineers develop sound judgment and strong fundamentals.Outside of my technical role, I am a heart attack survivor, an experience that has shaped my commitment to heart health advocacy. I am actively involved with the American Heart Association, serving as Chair of the J&J MedTech Steering Committee for the Cincinnati HeartWalk and HeartMini, and as Chair of the 2026 Cincinnati HeartWalk & HeartMini “Executives With Heart” campaign.
