ABOUT PAT JACKSON

Pat Jackson is a business leader involved in the commercial real estate, finance and investment industries. He is known for his penchant and track record for recognizing opportunities across all stages of the real estate and broader economic cycle. Jackson’s driving goal is to consistently keep clients and investors ahead of the curve. Today Pat Jackson serves as Chief Investment Officer of Sabal Investment Holdings (SIH), a real estate investment management business serving institutional investors across the U.S. SIH identifies, underwrites, structures and closes real estate investment opportunities across the capital stack. Jackson founded Sabal’s flagship Principal Investments business, Sabal Financial, during the Global Financial Crisis in 2009 and led the firm to establish a strong foothold in the distressed debt arena, bringing approximately $8.2 billion in troubled U.S. real estate assets under management. With Jackson at the helm, Sabal also launched a Bank Credit Advisory practice, providing financial guidance to investment and commercial banks, ultimately performing 175+ bank valuations. Together, these two businesses played a significant role in resolving much of the distress faced in both the banking and real estate sectors during the Great Recession.Jackson is also Founder and former CEO to Sabal Capital Partners, LLC, a previous affiliate of Sabal which was acquired by Regions Bank. Under his leadership, this business disrupted the commercial real estate lending arena with its proprietary SNAP™ technology platform and became a prolific, nationwide leader in small- and mid-balance commercial and multifamily lending solutions.Pat Jackson is also the former Founder and CEO of IndyMac Commercial Lending Corporation, which he grew into a leading nationwide small balance commercial and multifamily lending platform with an annualized production of $1 billion. He has also served as President and COO of Unitek Miyachi Corporation.
