About Pat McEvoy

I\'ve been working in the Engineering Consulting business since March of 2008. I\'m currently running our Charlotte office. We are about 5 years in, and its going well. I also manage our electrical engineering department and am a principal in the company.Previously, as a project manager and engineer, my day-to-day work experience involved managing the current project or projects that are my responsibility through design and/or into construction; designing construction documentation such as drawing sets, specifications and scopes of work; performing studies whether they be arc flash, electrical coordination, or inter-discipline; controls programming, start-up, and field support. That work experience ranges over a variety of industries. While most of my experience centers on heavy industrial clients such as utilities, mines, or similar, I also have done work in industries from the federal government down to local municipalities, from manufacturing to the food industry, and areas in between. I feel that my skill-sets are transferable to most industries.I have a thirst for knowledge, enjoy reading a multitude of subjects (engineering, politics, economics, history, city planning, gardening, new technology), and appreciate a good discussion.Softwares: Autodesk products, SKM Powertools, Etap, Rockwell Software (RSLogix, Factorytalk), Modicon, Micorsoft Office products, PVSyst, SEL,
