ABOUT PAT CHRISTENSON
For the past 44 years Pat Christenson had a seat at the table to witness the most improbable transformation of Las Vegas.As President of Las Vegas Events (LVE), he was instrumental in developing an infrastructure that welcomed leagues like the NFL, NHL, and WNBA as well as hosting and producing iconic events such as the NBA Summer League, National Finals Rodeo, three music festivals and another 40 events that continue to grow.In 1983, he was part of a team that opened the Thomas and Mack Center and managed Sam Boyd Stadium. He directed both of those venues and designed, funded, and opened Cox Pavilion who were the top collegiate venues in the country. Christenson has amassed a remarkable range of skills and knowledge. Vegas Event Insider, is a platform he will use to share his experiences and advise the industry via a blog, Vegas Comes Alive, a Talk, Vegas the Improbable Dream and PC Event Consulting. Christenson has been married 39 years to Vicki. They have two children, Danielle, and Nicole and two grandchildren.
