The Company, founded in 1965 with headquarters in San Mateo, CA, is one of the largest private real estate firms in the Western United States and largest private owner of apartments in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prometheus wholly owns and operates a real estate portfolio valued in excess of $6 billion which includes over apartment units and 1.1 million square feet of commercial, office, R&D and retail space.
