Lead in the development and delivery of private, municipal and federal projects and programs, with particular emphasis on water & wastewater utilities. In January of 2023, I was afforded the opportunity to lead the Stantec team as Program Manager for water distribution system improvements in the City of Jackson, MS. Contracted with JXN Water, our team has rapidly responded to the water crisis that occurred in late 2022. Stantec is charged with engineering solutions to a neglected and aging water system that was on the verge of total failure. We are developing a new hydraulic model, building a new GIS map by digitizing nearly atlas maps, providing asset management implementation assistance, oversight of repair contractors, engineering design and construction management for replacement projects, conducting a lead service line inventory, performing a rate analysis study for water billing, and planning future projects to improve the reliability and consistent water service to the citizens of Jackson. Our team of over 150 professionals and multiple sub consultants/subcontractors are dedicated to developing solutions to provide clean and safe water for many years to come.
