ABOUT PAT BLOMBERG

I have been at Hibu for almost my entire professional career for 2 reasons: 1. I love sales 2. I love the people I work with!I started Hibu with expectations of staying for a couple of years to get some good experience and move on but quickly found I was in a great spot. The core group of leaders who I still work with today are some of the most talented and dedicated people I have ever met. The purpose of the products we sell - customized marketing plans to help businesses thrive and be proud of how they look online - is easy for me to get enthusiastic about. I quickly learned that a position where you are rewarded for your performance and what you actually accomplish instead of paid to just show up at work was something that was a huge motivator for me. So far in my career at Hibu I have held multiple roles from outside sales to management. I love working with customers but have found my true passion is in the role I am currently in now managing a team. I have learned that a good sales person isn\'t someone with slick lyrics who does anything to get a sale. Instead it\'s someone who truly understands their product and it\'s benefits and speaks intelligently to the people who will benefit from that product. My team is intelligent in who they prospect, dedicated to work hard and each hold themselves accountable to make sure the clients they work with are successful. I have been fortunate to have built a team that I 100% trust to work in this way with their clients and I work to empower them to have the time, flexiblity and knowledge to do their job well.
