Currently, within the new mini-Hydro Business Unit of Enel Green Power, I work on mini - hydroelectric power plants projects (existing and new plants sized up to 3MW); the main activities- Analysis of the electrical parts (generators, transformers, static compensators, DC and AC auxiliary services, switchboards control and protection) in order to identify the maintenance activities necessary to improve technical and economical performances, therefore aiming to lower costs for each MW installed and a reduction in unexploited water resources- managing the entire process of connecting new mini-idro power plants to the distribution network- thanks to previous experience in the remote control, I am working on the implementation of remote monitoring systems of the hydraulic part of mini hydro plants, in order to reducing different O&M cost- drafting Capex (both for development and maintenance) and Opex budgeting procedure- working on the integration of the new mini-hydro business unit in all company process in particular purchasing an kpi monitoring process
