As a passionate culinary professional born into a family of farmers and fishermen in Puglia, Italy, I have always had a deep appreciation for the Mediterranean lifestyle and its emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Growing up alongside the Adriatic Sea, I was fortunate to experience firsthand the joys of the Mediterranean Diet, which instilled in me a love for healthy, flavorful food and the importance of the dinner table as a family After completing my Diploma at the Hotel and Culinary School in Castellana Grotte, Italy, I embarked on a journey around the globe to broaden my culinary horizons and embrace new opportunities. In I made my way to New York City, where I immersed myself in the diverse culinary landscape, working in various restaurants that offered Italian, French, and American cuisines. This experience allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life and further appreciate the bounty of flavors and traditions that each culture brings to the table. Reflecting on my upbringing, I realized how fortunate I was to grow up in a household filled with seasonal organic produce, handmade pastas, wild-caught fish, and the creations of my father\'s labor—his extra virgin olive oil, tomato sauce, and homemade wine. Mealtime was always a celebration for us, a cherished ritual that has inspired my culinary philosophy. In 2010, I founded Alloro New York Private Dining, a Private Chef and Hospitality company that brings authentic Italian culinary experiences into the homes, yachts and private jets of clients in New York and the Tri-state area. My mission is to share my cherished heritage of Puglia and Southern Italy, transforming long-forgotten, centuries-old recipes into unforgettable dining experiences. I am committed to nurturing connections through food, celebrating culture, and delivering excellence as a personal chef.
