ABOUT PASQUALE DALESSIO

I am passionate about molecular biology and genetics, and I transitioned from research to clinical diagnostics to apply my expertise in real-world healthcare. With a background in analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry, and biochemistry, I now specialize in genetic diagnostics for rare diseases, focusing on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and advanced molecular techniques. I graduated in Industrial Biotechnologies from the University of Naples “Federico II.” During my BSc traineeship, I worked in a Fermentation Biotechnology laboratory, focusing on the production of recombinant proteins in bacteria for industrial applications. For my MSc traineeship, I gained experience in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory, where I worked with Mass Spectrometry techniques for the analysis of biological samples in lipidomics and proteomics, as well as environmental analysis of pollutants in various solid and fluid matrices. I have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep passion for technology. I am always eager to explore new innovations in the field. I thrive in team-oriented environments but am also highly capable of working independently with excellent planning and organizational skills.
