ABOUT PAUL ASHFORD

I\'m a production engineering and greenhouse gas emissions specialist, known for building and leading exceptional teams, growing value, and solving difficult problems. My adaptive leadership style and my focus on coaching, collaboratively setting priorities, and resolving barriers and issues creates an environment where team members have opportunity to perform their best and advance their own careers. I have a track record of recognizing emerging opportunities and changing environments, obtaining maximum value from early implementation and from quick adaptation during periods of volatile conditions. My leadership on methane reduction and emissions benchmarking opportunities have created substantial value in capital cost savings, carbon offset revenue, tax savings, and fuel gas savings. I have successfully scaled consulting revenues by 50-100% annually along with increasing profit margins through implementation of advanced project management systems and controls. I am recognized for maximizing asset value by efficiently implementing workover and maintenance capital programs; optimizing existing producing assets; and achieving sustained OPEX cost reductions. When things go sideways, I have a calming and steady take charge approach. I am experienced in emergency response, with ICS-200 certification and training in the role of EOC Director, to preserve life and safety, minimize damage and losses, and restore value. Outside of work I enjoy keeping busy with home and cabin projects and reveling in nature when backcountry ski touring, downhill skiing, mountain biking, and sailing. I am energetic and love to stay active and healthy on a daily basis through bike commuting, jogs, and anything that gets me out in nature.
