The BBC is one of the world\'s leaders in news, education and entertainment, providing high standards content for TV, radio, online and social media to hundreds of millions of people in the UK and worldwide. At BBC Three I have been able to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment as part of the in-house social media team. During my time here I’ve been exposed to the whole visual production process, from hands-on design work to directing creative, concepting work, pitching, and working with senior heads of department to direct the design team output successfully.Achievements:Successfully delivered visual, branding and video projects for multiple social media platforms, iPlayer and print within budget, on time and following brand guidelines. Active member of the team during the BBC Three channel launch and the implementation of the pan BBC rebranding project.Responsibilities- Conceptualise, design and execute visual solutions for different projects, going through pitching to senior stakeholders, feedback rounds, execution of the designs and delivery of templates and assets for social media, TV, email, events and print- Working simultaneously along multiple projects. Key player in programme social campaigns like Normal People, Glow Up, Angels of the North, We are who we are, The Rap Game UK, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK- Brand guardian for social, extending and adapting BBC Three’s brand guidelines to new formats and team’s needs. Ensuring social content aligns visually with the channel’s target audience- Design consultant for specific projects, visual directing the production team so the output follows BBC Three quality standards and objectives- Training members of the team in how to execute designs correctly and how to use design templates under brand guidelines and delivery standards. Assisting in the education and development of junior designers.
