In this role, I manage and ensure compliance with federal, state, regional, and local policy as it relates to water, shoreline, dredging, and species interests across the 2900 acre facility, both planned and pre-existing. My work also requires me to engage both externally with agencies on a routine basis to maintain and develop working relationships with existing permits as well as advocate on industry and plant specific issues. Advocacy also occurs internal to the work facility to ensure compliance needs are outlined, incorporated into operational standards, and employees are trained as needed. I also serve as an internal consultant for permit development strategy and timeline development for project completion.
