I\'ve always been a problem solver at heart - whether analyzing climate data at Princeton and NASA or managing a $700M P&L at Veolia. My background as a German-trained engineer and climate scientist gives me a unique technical lens that I bring to every business transformation I lead.I developed my toolkit for driving performance at McKinsey & Company, then spent 13 years at Veolia putting those skills into practice. This journey took me from leading operational improvements at New York City\'s water utility to directing the multi-billion dollar integration of Suez\'s North American operations into Veolia, and ultimately serving as CEO of the Sustainable Industries and Buildings business unit. Across these roles, my most rewarding achievement has been building high-performing teams - finding and developing the talent required to turn complex strategy into operational reality.Today, as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at Arcwood Environmental (EQT), I\'m delivering our Value Creation Plan while holding operational responsibility for our Environmental Services and Logistics business - 30 locations and 700 employees that form the front-end of our nationwide operations. We provide reliable and innovative industrial waste solutions while building an organization that is resilient, scalable, and built for sustained growth.I view sustainability not as a constraint, but as a powerful lever for value creation that enables businesses to operate more efficiently and profitably. By integrating environmental health into the core of industrial strategy, we can drive economic growth that is built to last. This conviction started early - at age 20, I ran for the German Bundestag on a platform championing sustainability as a catalyst for economic prosperity and generational equity.
