The main area where I really enjoy using my skills is in creating processing systems (complex or not) around 1 or more CPUs. During this system definition, what I like a lot is customizing those CPUs to fit to the targeted application requirements by reducing cycle count with new instruction definition.I have done it by being part of proprietary ISA\'s definition, participated in the creation of coprocessors generation automatization tool (HW & SDK) and designed and verified some coprocessors improving performances by a factor of up to 150.I then successfully moved to open-source RISC-V ISA because its modularity and extensibility was the next step to get rid of proprietary ISA\'s while still allowing to continue my job of customizing/specializing processors.Working with different stakeholders on OpenHW Group CV32E40Pv2 open-source project was an incredible experience which opened new horizons.
