ABOUT PASCAL BREAULT
Cumulating 13 years in the field of environment, alternating through, site remediation, due diligences, ESA Phase One & Two and EH & S projects & programs, I oversee field work including drilling, soil sampling and monitoring of water quality. I also gained extensive 10+ years of experience in project coordination and management within the Canadian Armed Forces as a Logistics Coordinator. In 2013 in Afghanistan, I completed my 4th oversea mission. I am used to and enjoy being deployed when work requests it.Recently, I have deepened my geotechnical & environmental multidisciplinary skills coordinating between managers, project managers, suppliers and site personnel as well as advising logistical aspects & their costs on field work.Previously, I worked on an In situ environmental rehabilitation project of an industrial site affected by chlorinated & hydrocarbon compounds. I was managing on-site drilling using technologies such as \"Membrane Interface Probe (MIP)\" high resolution probes & Gore-Sorbers passive sensors to assess soil and groundwater quality. Successes included, despite of numerous technology challenges due to unexpected hard grounds, coordinating our team to adapt and overcome problems which saved the project by collecting key data to establish 3D models of chlorinated and non-chlorinated VOC soil concentrations.Colleagues know me as a highly creative coordinator who can always be trusted to come up with new approaches. Streamlining work procedures through systemic analysis to enhance productivity, customer service and business are my areas of strength or focus. I’m at my best when collaborating with others to promote idea exchange and a better understanding of management’s, client’s and other audience’s expectations.I have a B.Sc. Environmental studies and a Business Certificate from Université du Québec à Montréal and studied Mechanical engineering tech during college. I also studied in Environmental risk management and did a Railway Emergency Response Training.
