As a Technical Support Intern at Gold Star Metals, I assist with day-to-day IT operations to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of business processes. I manage and maintain critical servers, support business applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and 21st Century Programming’s Recycling Operations Manager (ROM), and help optimize security and technology-driven processes. A key part of my role involves working closely with professional employees to ensure their computers and systems operate properly, as well as occasionally assisting customers and business partners to maintain seamless technical operations. This position has strengthened my problem-solving abilities, adaptability in high-pressure situations, and technical expertise in supporting business continuity.
