ABOUT PARVANEH KHOSRAVI ZADEH FOROUSHANI
I earned my Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Tehran with a GPA of 4.00 out of 4.00. My academic journey also includes a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Persian/English Translation. Additionally, I am equipped with technical skills in data analytics tools such as SPSS, R programming, and Tableau as demonstrated by my recent completion of the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate program. During my tenure as an Assistant Professor at Sharif University of Technology, I accumulated over 12 years of experience in teaching and research. I have delivered more than teaching hours across a variety of courses in linguistics, applied linguistics, and computational linguistics to both graduate and undergraduate students. As an educator, I have not only taught diverse linguistics courses at the graduate level but also mentored and supervised graduate students, contributing to their research and academic development. I have also published around 30 articles in well-reputed journals within the field of language studies, and have been honored with commendations such as the Teacher of the Year Award. Moreover, I am the author of the book titled “Translation and Technology”, co-author of “Bi-lingual glossary of Computational Linguistics”, and a co-translator of two renowned books; “Constructive Realism, the New Aspects in epistemological movement”, and “Language of Conversation”.In addition to my scholarly achievement, I have a proven track record in project leadership. My spearheading of the development of a bilingual Persian-English Parallel Corpus, playing a pivotal role in establishing a master\'s degree program in computational linguistics, and securing grants for research initiatives demonstrates my ability to drive projects to successful completion. Since I have recently relocated to the United States, I am seeking new employment opportunities in academia, continuing my passion for teaching and research in the field of language studies and linguistics.
