About Parv Maheshwari
I\'m Parv Maheshwari, a fourth year Electrical Engineering undergrad at IIT Bombay. What truly excites me is the intersection of cognition, language models and machine learning, and the mere challenge of encoding human-like linguistic intuition into machines. As AI Intern at L&T, I optimised a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using LangChain, improving AI responses; And as Research Intern at Google DeepMind, I\'m rebuilding AlphaZero’s neural core from TensorFlow to JAX (Flax), to enhance its performance. I\'m endlessly fascinated by what machine understanding reveals about human communication. I geek out on music and linguistics; Being trained in Classical music, I\'m a part of IIT Bombay\'s cultural council and InterIIT team. I love to write and connect with people, and I\'m convinced the most interesting ideas live at intersections!

Working on OpenSpiel’s AlphaZero implementation under Dr. Marc Lanctot, by rebuilding its neural network core in JAX(Flax); replacing TensorFlow to improve performance and maintainability. Working to preserve the original API while leveraging JAX’s XLA acceleration.
