ABOUT PARUL SAWHNEY
I am an HR professional who has worked through roles and levels over 15 years to become a generalist. While empathetic and pragmatic in my approach I am resilient enough to understand and navigate through the complex issues of Employee relations and Human resources. Working in complex corporate environment, for me no two days are the same. I consider myself a natural Business Partner, creating relationships across levels through open communication and bringing solutions to the table. Over the years I have honed skills across the value chain of HR. However, the last 3 years in NZ have been very interesting and a good learning curve. While managing the overall HR function my focus has been around managing employee relations, change management, grasping NZ employment laws, coaching managers, dealing with Unions, creating policies and being a trusted advisor for the Management and relevant stakeholders. I am a situational leader with a no fear attitude, being a firm believer in the power of NOW and living in the moment. Look forward to connect and meet people who want to create an impact and change things around for the better.
