As a Certified Translation Officer with the Government of India, I play a key role in implementing the Official Language Policy under the directives of the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs. My responsibilities span across policy development, strategic planning, and execution of language-related mandates.Key highlights of my role:Policy Implementation: Designing and executing frameworks to ensure compliance with official language directives across departments.Training & Capacity Building: Acting as a Resource Person, I regularly organize and conduct quarterly workshops and training sessions for officers and staff within the organization and at external departments.Monitoring & Compliance: Conduct official visits to assess and ensure adherence to language policies; compile and review progress reports.Publication Management: Oversee the creation and publication of the organization\'s Official Language Magazine, promoting linguistic proficiency and awareness.RTI Administration: Handle all responsibilities related to the Right to Information (RTI) Act as the designated APIO, ensuring transparency and timely responses.This role requires a strong blend of leadership, administrative acumen, linguistic expertise, and team coordination, making me deeply engaged in both strategic and operational facets of language governance in the Indian bureaucracy.
