About Parth Pandya
I\'m an Associate Product Manager at Realis Simulation (formerly known as Ricardo Software) with a strong background in engineering research, product development, and simulation. I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University (SUNY), where I specialized in advanced engine technologies and system-level modeling. My academic and professional journey has equipped me with hands-on experience in internal combustion engines, powertrain calibration and validation, vehicle testing, and emission analysis. While at Stony Brook, my thesis focused on modifying the intake system of a CFR engine to support HCCI combustion. I conducted emission performance testing using a HORIBA five-gas analyzer, captured data through NI cDAQ and LabVIEW, and performed in-cylinder pressure analysis in MATLAB. I also built a 1D CFD model of the engine, gaining deep experience in simulations, calibration, and model validation.I began my career at Ricardo Software as an Application Engineer and later advanced to Senior Application Engineer, supporting and training global users of Ricardo’s 1D CFD tools. Currently, I serve as an Associate Product Manager at Realis Simulation, driving the development of WAVE and WAVE-RT. I combine my background in simulation, product development, and agile methodologies to deliver cutting-edge, user-friendly solutions for modern automotive simulation challenges.During my time as a student (2014–2016), I served as Treasurer of the Chapin Apartment Resident Association. I advocated for improved services in the residence halls, helping secure 24-hour printer access and a permanent rental car for residents. Our efforts were recognized with the ‘Executive Board of the Year’ award by the university’s campus residence office.Curious by nature and motivated by impact, I’m passionate about solving real-world engineering problems and building tools that empower others to do the same.
